People Finder Software
This is an intranet application for councils that enables service centre staff to correctly direct enquiries from the public. Any member of staff with network access can quickly identify the relevant council employee based on an enquiry from a member of the public. This is done by searching the application for their name but can also be searched for via occupation or keywords specific to their responsibilities. For example if an enquiry is received regarding council allotments, People Finder will quickly return contact information for the relevant council officer. Once found People Finder is able to connect directly to the extension having been integrated to MacFarlane’s switchboard system.
People Finder is used in the call centre and throughout the council offices by all employees.
